The representative supports international students at the Department of Computer Science at various levels:

• Initial contact with international students
• regular counseling
• Answering questions about studying
• Answering written inquiries from the immigration authorities

Starter package for international students

The International Office offers international first-year students a starter package. For a flat-rate fee, students are picked up at Dortmund Central Station or the airport when they arrive from abroad and given individual support as they take their first steps in their new surroundings. The core of the package is - depending on needs and availability - the arrangement of privately rented accommodation.
