The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Lecture Hall E 23, Otto-Hahn-Str. 14.
Until accepting his appointment to the Department of Computer Science, Sven Mayer was an assistant professor at the Technical University of Munich. His professorship in “Human-AI Interaction” is based at the Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security. Sven Mayer's research focuses on how artificial intelligence is fundamentally changing the way humans interact with technology. In his inaugural lecture, he outlines his vision of a new generation of interactive systems. Building on research into adaptive environments, physiological interaction, and artificial intelligence, Sven Mayer shows how intelligent systems can understand people, anticipate their needs, and proactively support them, rather than just being passive tools.
The Department of Computer Science is delighted to welcome Sven Mayer to the Research Center Trustworthy Data Science and Security and looks forward to the stimuli he will give to research and teaching in this interdisciplinary and therefore promising field.
For better planning, please register for the event here by October 31, 2025.
