Maximilian Krebs receives prize for the best thesis in software engineering in the German-speaking world

Maximilian Krebs was awarded first prize in the GI-SE 2024 Student Research Competition for his bachelor's thesis "Predictive, static energy consumption analysis based on experimentally determined energy models", which he completed last summer in Prof. Hermann's working group.

The GI-SE is the annual conference of the German Informatics Society in the field of software engineering for German-speaking countries. In a tough competition against 6 other Bachelor's and Master's theses from all German-speaking countries, his work won. In the laudation, the jury emphasized the high level of scientific rigor as well as the relevance of his work for the field of sustainability in software engineering.

Congratulations Max!
