Double success for the Department of Computer Science: two teaching awards won

As part of the academic anniversary celebrations, Prof. Dr. Thomas Schwentick received an award in the category "Large events with more than 60 participants" for his lecture "Basic concepts of theoretical computer science". With great personal commitment, he not only managed to convey the challenging theoretical content in an understandable way, but also to arouse the students' enthusiasm for the subject.
Calvin Danne, who is in his fifth semester of the Bachelor's degree course in Computer Science, was honored for his exceptional commitment. In the "Student Engagement" category, the jury recognized his commitment to various committees, including the student parliament, which he chairs as president, the university senate and several faculty commissions.
