The second lecture in the lecture series on computer science and sustainability will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, 4:15 p.m., in room E.003, Otto-Hahn-Str. 12:

Petra Wiederkehr: Resource-efficient production processes - How can computer science methods be used to make production processes more sustainable?

Abstract:

In this lecture, we will use selected examples to discuss how computer science methods can be used to improve the sustainability and resource efficiency of production processes (mechanical engineering). The focus will be on machining processes that are used, for example, to manufacture components for aircraft construction.

Guests are very welcome!
