Discontinuation regulations for the application subject "Service Information Systems" for the Master's degree program in Applied Computer Science
The phasing-out provisions refer to the application subject Service Informatics, which is no longer an option, and also regulate the change to the application subject Enterprise Computing.
Discontinuation and last choice of the application subject Service Informatics
(1) The last choice of the application subject Service Informatics of the Master's degree course in Applied Computer Science is possible in the winter semester 2023/24.
(2) After the end of the winter semester 2026/27, students who have chosen the application subject Service Informatics will continue their studies with the application subject Enterprise Computing. This change of application subject does not count as a change of application subject in accordance with Section 7 (3) MPO AngInf. Failed attempts will be credited.
Change to the application subject Enterprise Computing
(3) Students who have chosen the application subject Service Informatics before the summer semester 2024 can change to the application subject Enterprise Computing upon application to the Examination Board. This change does not count as a change of application subject in accordance with Section 7 (3) MPO AngInf or MPO AngInf_alt. The application is irrevocable, failed attempts will be taken into account.
(4) Students who are studying according to the examination regulations of 28.05.2024 (MPO AngInf_alt) continue their studies in the examination regulations of 29.04.2024 (MPO AngInf) in their current version by changing to the application subject Enterprise Computing. § Section 29 (8) MPO AngInf_alt applies accordingly.
(5) Students in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3 can also earn the credit points for the compulsory module "Seminar from Enterprise Computing" in accordance with paragraph 3 of the Application Subject Regulations Enterprise Computing MSc. (AF EC M) through the module "Seminar from Service Informatics" (INF-MSc-AF-DLI-101) if the module was successfully completed before the change.
(6) The Examination Board is authorized to decide on further recognitions.
Applications for recognition of examinations are decided by the Examination Board on a case-by-case basis. You can enquire about this with the Chair of the Examination Board.
