Language of courses and examinations

(1) The courses and examinations are usually held in English.

Total scope of the modules

(2) The application subject Robotics comprises modules with a total of 30 credit points (LP) in the Master's program.

Oral supplementary examinations

(5) The possibility of an oral supplementary examination according to §10 Abs.1 MPO AngInf does not apply to examinations for which the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is responsible.

Study achievements

(6) In deviation from §9 Para.4 BPO AngInf, academic achievements for which the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is responsible and which are a prerequisite for participation in module examinations must have been completed in the current or previous semester.

Scope of Application, Transitional Regulations

(7) This regulation applies to all students of the Bachelor's degree program in Applied Computer Science at the Technical University of Dortmund with the application subject Process Automation.

(8) The offer of courses and examinations for which the Faculty of Bio- and Chemical Engineering is responsible is limited until 31.03.2017.

(9) Students who have chosen the application subject Robotics before the winter semester 2015/16 do not acquire at least 13 credit points through elective modules according to paragraph 4, but at least 12 credit points through partial performance examinations on elements of the following suspended module "Robotics". They do not acquire three credit points through the module "Simulation and Control of Robot Systems" but four credit points through the following suspended module "Practical Training in Robotics".

Upon application to the examination board, credit points may be acquired through elective modules according to para. 4 and through the module "Simulation and Control of Robot Systems" instead of the suspended module "Robotics" and instead of the module "Practical Training in Robotics" which is no longer offered; credit points acquired through partial performances of the module "Robotics" before the winter semester 2015/16 will be credited as elective modules according to para. 4; a module "Practical Training in Robotics" completed before the winter semester 2015/16 will be credited as module "Simulation and Control of Robot Systems".
