Daniel Spenner Receives the ICALP 2026 Best Student Paper Award, Track B

Daniel Spenner from Chair 1 won the Best Student Paper Award in Track B at the prestigious ICALP 2026 conference ( 53rd EATCS International Colloquium on Automata, Languages, and Programming) for his paper “Deciding DFA-Primality is NP-Hard.”
He received the award during the conference in London from Giuseppe Italiano, President of the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS).
The department extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Spenner.
