The newly founded Diversity Commission of the Department of Computer Science has officially started its work.

It actively promotes social and cultural diversity within the department, promotes equal opportunities at all levels and takes a firm stand against all forms of discrimination. In addition, the commission advises the Department of Computer Science on equality issues, takes over the tasks of the former Equal Opportunities Commission and meets regularly once a month.

The Diversity Commission is chaired by Ms. Luise Henkel. A complete list of the other members can be found on the Commission's website.

All members of the commission can be contacted with questions, suggestions, concerns and problems relating to diversity, equality, (anti-)discrimination or bullying. We would like to have more diverse members who can contact the Commission at any time.
