Abstract:

Computer systems are a natural part of our everyday lives. Since technology is not neutral, ethics can be used as an orientation tool to promote social sustainability, among other things. We will look at how algorithmic systems can create inequalities and the inherent difficulties we face when trying to integrate fairness into technical systems.
