Tasks of the Dean's Office
The general duties of the Dean's Office are the coordination of teaching, research and administration. This includes in detail:
- Central business and information office of the faculty
- administration of budgetary funds (material funds, funds for teaching assignments, personnel funds)
- Lecture planning
- Staff planning
- Provision of study information (study regulations, examination regulations, minor subject agreements),
- structural, appointment and habilitation matters,
- Supervision of the affairs of the most important central committees of the faculty (in particular: Faculty Council (FR), Commission for Teaching and Studies (LuSt), Budget Commission (HaSt)), Quality Improvement Commission (Quest), Diversity Commission (DivKo)
- Editing of the Faculty's regulations (in particular: Examination regulations, study regulations, minor subject agreements, doctoral regulations),
- Issuance of certificates and diplomas.
