Before the general election, the researchers show how much the answers from the AI tools differ from the party manifestos.

Election assistance tools based on artificial intelligence offer new ways of interactively finding out about the parties' election manifestos. However, according to studies by researchers at TU Dortmund University, the AI's answers are not purely determined by the content of the party manifestos. The AI answers sometimes deviate greatly from the party manifestos and are very dependent on the user's input. The nine-person team tested how reliably two AI tools reproduce the positions of the parties from the Wahl-O-Mat: With wahl.chat they found deviations in every fourth case, with wahlweise.info even in every second.
